During extension and renovation works our client wanted a more elegant solution to their AV requirements. All cables and equipment were to be out of sight yet able to be accessed throughout the home. The client wanted to view high definition quality pictures in the lounge, conservatory, kitchen and master bedroom.
It was also important for them to be able to access radio and music via an iPod. Wave AV installed a 50″ Samsung plasma TV in the lounge, relocating an existing 40″ plasma to the master bedroom. A 42″ Samsung plasma was installed in the kitchen while a 26″ Samsung LCD TV was chosen for the conservatory. An Audio authority AVA matrix was chosen to drive high definition signals over two runs of cat5e to each screen. This would provide high quality images in 720p 1080i and 1080p resolution.
The source equipment connected would be a Sky HD set top box and Samsung DVD player that would upscail standard DVD`s to 1080i resolution. Audio would be provided by a Sony DAB tuner and Marantz iPod docking station with IR control. All source equipment would be connected to a 4 zone Systemline modular package with 8″ ceiling speakers and IR learning keypad controls.
Systemline programmable remote controls were included in the package to give greater convenience. All source equipment was housed in a custom made unit located in the kitchen utility. Wave av carried out all aspects of the installation including testing and demonstration, and is backed up with service and support for client’s peace of mind.
